Biography
Caroline Cass was brought up in Kenya and educated in Kenya and England. At the age of eighteen she moved with her family to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) where she lived for six years before marrying an American journalist and leaving for the USA in 1968, a dramatic time in American history. After eleven years in Chicago and Washington she moved to London with her two young daughters. She has travelled extensively in India, the Far East, Africa and Europe.
Caroline has written articles for Telegraph Magazine, Financial Times, World of Interiors, Marie Claire, Mail on Sunday. Commissioned by Vanity Fair to do a piece on Mexican artist Leanora Carringington.
Co-Director of 'Portrait Commissions' a Jermyn Street agency for commissioning portraits, 1991-1998.
